Got it. But as more and more stuff starts to leak out, one gets the impression that he was far from the wonderful kid that has been portrayed . I suspect that he is something of a sleaze and has been for a while.

I mean he is only 23. Been an adult, for like five years only but like I said last week i've been hearing up stuff about this dude going back two summers now. He clearly didn't know how to act as soon as he got money.

Obviously difficult to say for sure, but one wonders if this wasn't a kid who often got away with things and had things covered up because he was a great athlete. We know it happens to people in college (see Football, Johnny). But it happens in high schools and in small towns too. More than anyone would care to admit.

I wonder what the father figure urban is going to do to try and help poor aaron. Hope he doesn't sneak up behind him and whispers "is this what you want" again.

According to the prosecution, AH orchestrated the murder because he was upset at him for talking to some people at the club that AH had a prior beef with!

Let's think about what this would mean if it turns out to be true. "Beef" can mean a lot of things. If this is as gang-related as it sounds, maybe he found out dude was talking to (and implying association) with rival gang members. This all may go a lot deeper than we know.

I live with 3 people who went to school with him, and despite what I've heard about his utter stupidity, I feel like even Aaron Herandez isn't stupid enough to commit 1st degree murder over a conversation between a friend and a guy who talked to him at a bar or something.

Like the rape crew in Ohio, but that is so much worse. Town and police officials were aiding that cover-up.

Aaron Hernandez is evil. I bet there is a lot of stuff that got covered up leading up to this point. I feel bad for his family for having a family member that is evil. That's about it. they aren't the victims here.

This is an open and shut case. The Pats know it, and with no death penalty in Mass, there isn't even a deal to cut. He is going to prison for the rest of his life. I hope the two cowards that stood by and let it happen get at least 25 years.

Thank God he didn't go to UConn. Florida can handle this bad press. UConn couldn't take this storm right now.

Id bet the farm he was high on pcp when he did it. Its what these clowns do.

He's a fu9king balloon knot plain and simple go through life with something alot of people lack in this world COMMON SENSE! and this is the end result,my man has left an incredible trail of carnage behind him,can only imagine the media storm thats gonna arise when the trail starts gonna make O.J. trail look like pre school.

When has he been portrayed as a wonderful kid? Maybe CT media is different, but AH has been portrayed as a guy with character issues since he was first questioned in a shooting and failing drug tests at Florida.

What a damn shame. Feel bad for Lloyd's family, but also feel bad for DJ. I just don't get it. AH doesn't even come from a thug background. He is essentially a poser in that world.

The Courant's latest article on this has a piece about someone named Ortiz was arrested in Bristol today on a fugitive from justice charge and held on $1.5 Mill bail. Police aren't saying whether the arrest is related to AH. Can't link right now but doesn't give much more than what I've said.

I don't think you've been paying attention. He may have committed the most amateurish ganster wanna-be murder and destruction of evidence in history. From what I've learned this week, I'd (sadly) say I totally believe he would execute someone over words.

Well, yeah, he did commit it less than a mile away from his home after all

I read that the victim was dating the sister of Aaron's fiance. My first guess after hearing that he said he couldn't trust him was that he found out he stole something from him while visiting, or was aggressive with his fiance's sister. I think that would make more sense than a gang shooting, but obviously I have no idea. He has way too much to lose to kill a friend for talking to a rival gang member, I think it would take something a little more personal than that to drive him to it. To be honest I don't really see how he ever would have gotten involved in gang culture to the point of acting the part of hit man.

AH is also now being investigated in a double homicide that happened last year.....holy crap man.

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- FOX 25 has learned exclusively that investigators are looking into Aaron Hernandez as a possible suspect in a double murder that happened on July 16, 2012 in downtown Boston.

According to the Boston Police blog from that date, officers responded to the intersection of Shawmut Avenue and Herald Street just after 2 a.m. When they arrived, they found three people had been shot, two fatally, as they sat in a car at a traffic light.

The men were identified as Safiro Furtado and Daniel Abreu. The FOX 25 source said the men, who worked at a cleaning company in Dorchester, had just left a bar in the area.

I am wondering if Hernandez is part of a drug trafficking operation. Killing people because he doesn't like them doesn't make much sense. Seems like this might be some house cleaning.

Foxboro is close to his home in North Attleboro which would explain choosing to live there but I would choose to live closer to Boston if I was a Patriot. Hernandez is much closer to Providence where he is suspected in some gun activity. He is hanging around with guys from Dorchester back in Boston. Seems like a lot of unnecessary travel unless he has interests in the Boston-Providence drug pipeline. When they said he lived in North Attleboro I immediately thought "why would a 23 year old football player choose North Attleboro over say Medfield, Norwood, or Weston for his home?" Aside from proximity to work, it doesn't offer much and it certainly doesn't appear to be where he parties.
This whole story is riddled with Rhode Island ties. Why is Aaron Hernandez so interested in Rhode Island?

This seems pretty apparent to me. He is a moron apparently too, that was a low level gang banger wanna be. The bosses don't go do the murders. The underlings do. So, AH (with all his millions) was just some low level gang soldier. What a joke.

Well N. Attelboro is basically RI. Lots of people who work in Providence live there.

Phew! If he did that, too he should just be put away permanently. If he was involved and is convicted of all 3 murders he does not deserve to walk free ever again.

Because many Pats live in that community and he bought the home from former Pat Ty Warren after Warren signed with Denver?

Right, Hernandez doesn't work in Rhode Island though. Unless, he has a side job.

Ummm, if he did even 1 of the murders he doesn't deserve to walk free ever again.

Um, if he killed one of them he deserves never to be let out again. He should be locked up for life for being an overall scum bag and mouth breather.

Right. North Attleboro is close to Providence but its also pretty convenient to Boston and a fair number of people travel from their to Boston too. the MBTA provides regular train service for commuters. And its close to Foxborough, maybe 15 minutes. Providence is a fairly cool city, clubs, bars restaurants, shopping, too so its not all that surprising that a young guy would go there sometimes. It isn't Boston, but it isn't Hartford or Bristol either.
