I grew up with the Brady Bunch. Florence had a full life. That's all any of us can ask for. As for my favorite on the show, it was and will always be Jan Brady, played by the beautiful Eve Plum. I had such a crush on her. Rest in Peace, Florence.

I first saw Florence Henderson as the ingénue in the Broadway musical "Fanny" when I was a teenager. Stars of that production included Ezio Pinza (who may be familiar to some as Mary Martin's leading man in "South Pacific" on Broadway) and the comedian Walter Slezak. My memories of "Fanny" are pretty good: Florence was quite beautiful with a lovely soprano voice. She said, however, that if fans only remember her for "The Brady Bunch," she'd be content. Thanks for the memories.

Thanks, fellow Old Timer. Caught Eddie Fisher singing "Fanny" with Henderson, too. Eddie of Debbie Reynolds/Elizabeth Taylor fame. When Liz opted for Richard Burton, it was bye-bye for Fisher in more ways than one. The stuff of memories . . .
