When ND gets all feisty on the defensive end and we have no flow, we HAVE TO HAVE players who will take the initiative, make a play and get to the line. We just have to. Obviously we look for shots generated out of our offense, but we cannot stand and wait til the shot clock winds down looking for wide open looks.

Stef reached in on a Notre Dame defensive rebound for her first foul (and set a lazy moving screen for her second where she didn't set her feet and ran through the defender). That stupid reach in foul is what has her in this pickle now.

Refs were almost invisible in the first half. It suddenly seems as though they remembered that they have a job to do. What wasn't called in the first is being called in the second.
