I like what I'm seeing out of her.

She knows she needs to sell the school hard, privately and publicly. And it seems like she's doing both.

Very levelheaded approach by Herbst. Nobody know how this turns out but I like her at the helm.

i'm glad our president is a woman otherwise i would be defending my man-crush.

.-.
Interesting thing here is that UConn has NOT applied to ACC.

Dan Malloy stepping right behind Herbst. UConn is pulling out the big guns on this. It's really an interesting study on public relations and influence.

.-.
If Malloy can get it done I might actually stop bashing him every day to anyone who will listen. At least for one day anyway.

It's amazing how comfortable I feel after her comments. We will be in a good situation. I'm still betting ACC.

Hopefully we can get into the ACC for basketball sake and keep playing Pitt/Cuse and add UNC/Duke every year. Don't care about football, we're going to be a horrible football conference no matter how this plays out.

I think I'm almost in love with Susan. Kinda have a Doris Burke hard on for her.

You have a point. ACC football, with Miami on survival mode, doesn't scare anyone at this point. There are a few ACC teams we might consistently beat!!

Never thought I'd see those two things in the same sentence....unless separated by the word "no" or some such thing. Love the internet; see something new everyday.

LOL. You forced me to reread this and the sentence construction just makes this appear all wrong.

She's upbeat, doesn't seem to panic, and I admire her.

Whenever I see the phrase or anything close to "Now's not the time to Panic!", I can't help but think, "Whenever someone says that, it is exactly the right time to panic!" :)

I'd be lying if I wasn't concerned that the only good door to take at this moment is the ACC, and I'm just not sure they're willing to open it for us.

From my point of view... if all these conferences are expanding to 16 teams.... as long as it happens in the next two years. There just aren't a ton of schools that fit into the ACC or the Big 10 for that matter. It's if this drags out for 5 or 6 years that concerns me. Or it happens in fits and spurts and drags other schools away first.
