Interesting thing here is that UConn has NOT applied to ACC.
twenty minutesThis could take a while.
Dan Malloy stepping right behind Herbst. UConn is pulling out the big guns on this. It's really an interesting study on public relations and influence.

Hopefully we can get into the ACC for basketball sake and keep playing Pitt/Cuse and add UNC/Duke every year. Don't care about football, we're going to be a horrible football conference no matter how this plays out.
I think I'm almost in love with Susan. Kinda have a Doris Burke hard on for her.
LOL. You forced me to reread this and the sentence construction just makes this appear all wrong.Never thought I'd see those two things in the same sentence....unless separated by the word "no" or some such thing. Love the internet; see something new everyday.
She's upbeat, doesn't seem to panic, and I admire her.

From my point of view... if all these conferences are expanding to 16 teams.... as long as it happens in the next two years. There just aren't a ton of schools that fit into the ACC or the Big 10 for that matter. It's if this drags out for 5 or 6 years that concerns me. Or it happens in fits and spurts and drags other schools away first.Whenever I see the phrase or anything close to "Now's not the time to Panic!", I can't help but think, "Whenever someone says that, it is exactly the right time to panic!"
I'd be lying if I wasn't concerned that the only good door to take at this moment is the ACC, and I'm just not sure they're willing to open it for us.
