So far UMass-Lowell (swept BU), Northeastern (Swept ND), PC (swept Merrimack) are on their way to the Garden. UVM forced a 3rd game with BC with a 4-2 win yesterday. In ECAC action Dartmouth swept Yale and Cornell forced a 3rd game against Quinnipiac with a 5-4 win.

UVM/BC tied at 3 midway through the 3rd...winner takes all.

Northeastern has become an absolute buzz saw. From where they were in the first half to now, it is a stunning turnaround. Even if they do not win the tournament, they have a chance at earning an at large bid as crazy as that sounds.

Prior to 12/19/15: 1-11-2

From 12/19/15 on: 18-1-2, have won 11 straight

Totally agree Mac, NU actually is playing up to the level they were expected to play at in the pre-season predictions.

Mike McMahon actually put out this tweet earlier when UVM was up on BC:

Here’s a crazy thought, with BC-UVM tied in the 3rd. If UVM wins HEA, is it possible that the league gets 7 teams into the tournament?

This one after BC won in OT:

It would appear that Hockey East has at least 5 teams in the tournament (ND 99.5%). NU would make 6. Can’t have 7 w/ UVM out.
