Didn't really have any feelings about this hire other than "glad Diaco is gone" but seeing him back at the Rent has made me feel a lot better about this. Maybe it's nostalgia but I'm glad he's the choice. He'll be committed and UConn football is his baby, what better way to correct the way he left than to return and fix the program and retire here?

Not a flashy guy either.. like the humility pulling up in a Hyundai SUV... A car's a car... ("you are what you are")... love this....

Semantics. The apology was genuine, I'm ready to move on.
Undoubtedly, genuine, sincere emotion, specifically stated "regret", absolute direct apology, and entirely clear and appropriate focus on the future. How reasonable, relatively mature individuals could expect anymore would be challenging to comprehend. Moving onward, and upward.
Go UCONN!

I'm not even there and it feels like finally a grown up is in charge of the program.

I'm glad I didn't post before about the hire. I wasn't happy about it. But after listening to the press conference I really think he is sorry about leaving the way he did. I'm willing to give him a chance and maybe even get our 13 season ticket holders we had back.

LOVE the fact he actually speaks the language we all understand... The last 3 years were tough to deal with when it came to that.

Diaco's hire reminds me of some of the hires (useless ones) at the company I work at... They so looked the part, very sociable, for the image conscious folks, but when it was about the work output and results... Yikes!
