HBO Standalone Service

We can thank WWE for setting the tone with the success of their standalone streaming network. Now it looks like HBO is getting in on the fun.

Hopefully this is a sign of things to come. I have had cable on and off the last several years, and found myself signing up again this year basically for hbo shows and more football games.

I really hope it is a resounding success so other stations can offer a stand alone streaming service. Espn would be great. Maybe the NFL would can make the red zone channel available as well. I would cut cable and never look back

I can only hope so.

I have been an on and off cable subscriber for many years (mostly off). I always come back for some stupid reason (Game of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire). Stand Alone changes the game.

I brought my boxes in last week and it felt great. watching shows off of the chromebox on a 50 inch live stream is great. I'm still trying to find a site to live stream walking dead. other than that, everything so far has been in point.
