Posted to Jordans Instagram story. Think its reasonable to conclude this was a gift to either one or both of his parents. Can’t say i’m surprised in the least, such a high character kid. Proud of him and love seeing this stuff.

I'm sure he will buy himself something. Hopefully nothing too ridiculous. You don't do a lot of driving in NOLA.

@NowInStorrs my wife gets us Tervis Tumblers every Christmas. Used to be the plastic ones, now it's the metal ones that are like Yeti tumblers, but with more interesting artwork.

Looks like a nice, safe, reasonable purchase. Nothing extravagant

Hopefully he continues to keep his head on his shoulders :)

With the ribbon, and being a parent I think this is a gift, especially seeing his parents there in the back.

Much better than the coffee cups I get!
Mercedes always put ribbons on the car when you are picking it up

He has an enormous statistical advantage just coming from a two parent home. He has great parents and he adores them. The stage is set for this young man to be a star in the NBA.
Would you ever say this about a white player?

How the hell would I know that?

This thread will be saved if we all share our “Point A to Point B” cars. Thanks to @Kitaman for the inspiration.

Here’s “Electric Blue” a 2009 Corolla w 145k on it.

Bought the car immediately after my Civic broke down and needed to many repairs en route to a UConn game at the RAC, so it’s got some UConn symbolism to it in addition to its name.

Thankfully the mechanic up the road loves this car and “wants to keep it on the road forever”. Can't put it into words, the car just makes me happy and I will never replace it for as long as it's running fine.

Next nominee, @husky429 needs to share his Wrangler while @Letsgohuskies11 has a road veteran gem too.

Great question. Absolutely yes.

Happy to have a discussion with you off-line and avoid the blunt-force, virtue signaling, race hustling responses it might engender here.
