admitedly haven't been able to see full games so far so take these thoughts for what they are worth.

Do we show a plethora of exotic runs? I'm talking fly sweeps, motions, zone reads, QB powers, etc? It feels to me a lot of our run game is either straight handoffs between the tackles or Shirreffs scrambling for his life. Being a run heavy/run first team can still work in 2016 if there are the variations of runs and formations to keep the defense on its toes. I wouldn't mind even seeing a diamond formation with Shirreffs, Newsome, Johnson, and Hopkins.

Seen a little bit of read option from the shotgun.. usually ends with BrS riding the fake so long they both get tackled together. Haven't seen any fly sweep action like Deshon Foxx used to run. Most effective edge run has been a quick toss with AN, had a good gain on one of those against UVa. Most of our called runs have been delays or slow developing counter treys. I think close to half of our called pass plays have turned into BrS runs. Navy and Va clearly game planned to contain QB runs but he still got some good runs late in both games. He's taken heavy hits in every game too, thought he was going to miss some plays after getting piled into the turf this past week.

"Fans" in my section were sarcastically screaming "Diaco! How about a run up the middle!!??!!" most of the 2nd half.

I sat in the end zone this week and from that perspective many more of Sherrifs runs looke like designed runs. Draws and delays. From the usual seats I thought they were just him taking off. Of his 20 or so runs I thought at least half were design qb runs from watching the play from that perspective.

By the way, #9 for Virginia spent so much time in the UConn backfield he should have been in a blue shirt.
