I don't know how the Big 12/SEC thing is scheduled, but I imagine we wanted a tougher match. Texas got Georgia, and Oklahoma State played Mississippi State. I'm not sure how the best Big 12 team got stuck with the 9th or so SEC team. Oh well. Kim won't admit this, but she probably didn't expect this team to be quite this good, and wanted to ease in the new group having lost 4 seniors. Next year will be a different story for sure.

If you listen to Kim's press conferences, she doesn't really care about seeding that much. She chooses the schedule based on the best way to develop her team. She's admitted that she gave up trying to figure out the NCAA standards for seeding. We will play who we play and have every reason to feel confident with our draw. Louisville is the weakest 1 seed, so it worked out anyway.
