Given the postponements of both the Seton Hall game today and the Villanova game, has the Big East Conference, UCONN's AD, and Geno done any "Shuffling" of the Schedule or possibly made some "Additions" to the schedule, in order to fill in these LARGE GAPS in the current schedule, due to these postponements? (PS - Has Geno spoken to the press, on line, regarding these recent postponements?)

First, if conversations have taken or are taking place, don't expect to hear anything unless it is a go. Other teams are experiencing the same problems. Any discussions with Big East teams has to include the conference. If another game happens, it happens.

What do you want Geno to say? This sucks! Have you looked at other teams and the number of postponements and cancellations? This problem is all over every conference.

UConn postponed the game vs SH because of a positive case at Providence, a team the Huskies played on 1/9. According to health protocols, UConn needs to go 7-10 days without any positive cases, subject to everyone testing negative at the end of 7 days, before they can even consider playing another game. So I would not expect any schedule changes until 1/16 at the earliest.

Actually, to answer the OP's original question, Geno has completely sat on his ass and has done zero to try to add any games to the depleted schedule. In fact, he's been advocating for canceling even more games so his already tired players can get even more rest due to less travel to and from games... :p

Kidding obviously. There was an interview with Geno that someone posted a week or so back where he was asked that questions. He basically said "I've been talking to Jeff (Walz) for weeks now. Every time we find a date that might work, the ACC or Big east re-schedules a cancelled game from their league, and it prevents us from settling on a date"

He went on to say his kids are dying to play. He asked the reporters if they would be willing to suit up - "it doesn't matter what position you play or how big you are. Suite up - my kids want to play". He ended it by saying these are uncharted times and he's trying everything he knows to try to get games on the slate.
