Uconn wears a black and yellow ,Looks like OSU patch on its right upper chest area of the women's uniforms. I can only assume it is for Oklahoma state staff that passed away in a freak plane crash earlier this season. Anyone with info and why just Uconn?

Yes...The team wears the OSU patch in honor of Kurt Budke & Miranda Serna. Geno stated shortly after the tragedy that the team would wear the patch for the remainder of the season.

Yup, I thought that was a wonderful thing and a great reminder for the team to keep all things in proper perspective.

Because Geno thinks it's the right thing to do. We don't know if other programs might be wearing the patch.

The Big 12 teams and coaches are wearing an orange 4 in honor of OSU and I think I've seen some teams with an orange ribbon but I can't remember which teams . . .
