Not really. But I am not surprised. With a great team that is packed with offensive weapons for days, I figured that they would be a beast this season. Plus you throw in the fact that they are coached by Jamelle, I am not surprised.

Jamelle has her kids playing some defense. They held South Dakota St.
to 22 points last night.

I realize that South Dakota St. are not world beaters, but they came into
the Cincinnati game 3 - 1 with a win over a Washington State team that
beat Marquette last night.

Until she can recruit some more talented players, concentrating on
playing strong defensively is obviously the way to go. If they play good
D, they will be in the game against most of their opponents.

On the negative side, the attendance at last night's game was 136. (at Cancun)

Probably around 100 of the fans were parents from both teams... The others were boyfriends.

If the Bearcats can beat Xavier on Dec. 4 for the championship
of Cincinnati, that would be helpful in getting competitive on
the recruiting front for some of that Ohio, Kentucky, and
Indiana talent.
