I'm disappointed that there is no TV for this one...I was expecting CPTVSports to broadcast this game
given the return of Bria and Stef. There was a mention this morning that Stef now has red hair.
I hope some of our courtside observers will give us a considered opinion on the wisdom of her dye job.

Here's a preview....

WNBA Live Access, $14.99 a month. Not a bad deal.
Not sure how to set it up on my tv, but with a smart tv and wireless internet stuff, i'm betting the games can somehow be watched on your television, even if it's linked into your computer.

Run an HDMI cable from your computer to your TV?

The smile on Stef and Bria's faces as they got to Kelly during the handshake was pretty awesome..

Nine Mystics played at least 16 minutes each tonight. Another win for Washington.

The freshmen are here with the upper classmenr #UConnwomen Natalie Butler, too

Kia Nurse was in Storrs this week though not sure if she was at the game tonight.

I was sitting a mile away from the UConn team so I couldn't recognize several of the new faces. However I did notice two things:

1. Tierney Lawlor was with the group so I guess she is still practicing with the team.

2. At any distance, Courtney Ekmark is easily recognizable by her striking blonde hair. It is certain that she will get similar reactions to Meghan Gardler from a portion of the UConn fan base (no one on The Boneyard, of course). I also think she may be a bit taller than the 6-0 that she is given credit for.

I understand she has already consulted with Meghan on the proper technique for placing a hairpin prior to launching a 3.

depends on if she's standing next to Hartley or DD

Some guy got in the way right when they met Kelly so I didn't see what happened. Kelly wasn't too happy though.

A low turnout (5K). I expected a bigger crowd considering the difficulty we had getting decent seats. There were hundreds of empties in the lower bowl. Our upper level row G seats bought 3 weeks ago were "the best available" at the arena ticket window. TicketMaster was even worse. There were probably no more than a couple of hundred fans in the entire upper level and nobody within 10 seats of us. Best seats my eye!

I think the Sun has the same problem as the Huskies. Average age of the fans appeared to be 90+.

For future reference, "best available" at least at the casino, means "on the side". If you don't mind sitting behind a basket, which I personally like, they are available frequently. That's where I used to buy them.

The Connecticut Sun held a “Throwback Thursday” promotion at Mohegan Sun Arena, as the Washington Mystics made their first trip of the season to Connecticut to face the Sun. In the spirit of that promotion, former Sun coach Mike Thibault, and players Kara Lawson and Kalana Greene returned with the Washington Mystics, and Washington rode the fourth quarter performances of their veterans, Monique Currie (eight points) and Ivory Latta (seven points) to a 74-66 victory over Connecticut.

From and Kathy came in and sat in section 26, stayed for the whole game. At one point Mo Jeff came over with Courtney ..shared hugs and handshakes.
I found it interesting that people left the coach alone to enjoy (or not) the game . BTW I thought Stef's hair looked more blond streaked than red.

Stef's been dieing (or is that dying?) to try new hair colors. Unfortunately a certain Ms. Daly has prevented the experimentation as UConn has hair rules (it's true). Now that Stef's a pro I'm sure we'll all get to see her hair creativity!
