We are so ready for Stanford!
Tuck is so confident around the hoop, with great economy of movement.
Glad to see UConn dominating. But can anybody tell me what is wrong with Kiah ? Is she in the game and why so little offense?
Seemingly few minutes for Tuck…hurt?

I thought the offense in general looked out of sink for most of the second half - Geno played mostly a four guard and Kiah line-up and they just didn't quite know what to do - Kiah would battle for low post and the guards would pass around the outside - Kiah would flash to the foul line and the pass would go to the wing - she would set a screen and the guard would mosey along in the other direction. In the first half with more starters in, the offense when Kiah was in the game flowed smoothly.listening to the game recap on WTIC on the drive back, I believe they said that Kiah led the team in minutes played, and in rebounds, plus I know she had at least a couple of blocks - so, it's unfair to judge her game just based on points scored. She still looked just a tad out-of-sync on offense, but, not much - and, given the amount of time she played, I think it's fair to say that Geno wasn't too unhappy with her, because he left her in for a lot of minutes.
One thing that surprised me was that Geno let people play with early foul trouble. TBS picked up her second only about eight minutes in, and Geno left her on the floor. BB picked up her third in the first half, and Geno let her play. I don't know if it was because he felt that it wouldn't affect the outcome much, so he could use it as a test, to see if his players could adjust, or, if he felt that it was a necessary "learning curve" with the new emphasis on contact. But, both times, I was surprised that the "offending" player wasn't removed from action.
Dolson in my opinion should be the face of the game this year. A great player with a great personality, leadership, popular, and very comfortable on camera. Just a very likable (read marketable) young woman that is well spoken and doesn't have the broody fake "intense" attitude.Rich Elliott @elliottctpost 9m

Ah, yes, out of the sink and into the bathtub!I thought the offense in general looked out of sink for most of the second half - Geno played mostly a four guard and Kiah line-up and they just didn't quite know what to do - Kiah would battle for low post and the guards would pass around the outside - Kiah would flash to the foul line and the pass would go to the wing - she would set a screen and the guard would mosey along in the other direction. Wasn't sure why Morgan didn't get more playing time - she got pulled in the first half shortly after taking and missing a 3 from the top of the key - looked like a decent decision to me but I wondered if Geno wasn't happy with the shot.
Thanks JohnnyC.....I couldn't get much on the game with Gametracker down , at least on my end.To me she looked a little lost at times on offense but seemed to get more comfortable the more she played. As usual her defense and rebounding were great. I think she only attempted 3 shots.
