Seems to be Hartford area only - no Fairfield county players on his list

Tom Yantz's preseason Fab 15 area high school football players to watch. Statistics are from last season:
Keith Coleman, Sr. OT, Hartford Public: At 6-3, 305, he is the force that fuels the Owls' run game; getting Division I college looks.
Jack Driscoll, Sr. Hand-Madison, OT: Has size (6-5, 255), strength and speed; orally committed to UMass.
Bennie Fuse, Jr. RB, Windsor: Transfer from Capital Prep/Achievement First-Hartford ran for 1,395 yards and 16 TDs.
Jake Hedberg, Sr. QB, Newington: Threw for 2,446 yards and 17 TDs.
Dario Highsmith, Sr. TB/DB, Middletown: The Connecticut Gatorade Player of the Year rushed for more than 2,700 yards and 28 TDs.
Alex Jamele, Sr. WR, Southington: Had 79 receptions and ranked first in the state in receiving yards with 1,623.
Tyzhan Leatherwood, Sr. RB/S, Platt-Meriden: Finished with 1,836 rushing yards.
Matt Maxwell, Sr. SS/WR, Southington: Sturdy defender who had six tackles and two pass breakups in Blue Knights' 52-34 Class LL win over Fairfield Prep.
Vernon McAlmont, Jr. RB/LB, Prince Tech-Hartford: Averaged 148.3 rushing yards in 12 games.
Jarvis Miller, Sr. RB/CB, Windsor Locks/ Suffield/East Granby: Orally committed to Penn State after running for 1,611 yards and averaging 8.1 total tackles per game.
Donevin O'Reilly, Sr. RB/CB/WR, Glastonbury: Averaged 31.4 yards on kickoff returns; led the team in rushing (794) and made 37 catches for 619 yards.
Matt Sanzaro, Sr. QB, Wethersfield: Threw for 1,969 yards and 28 TDs and only four interceptions in 250 attempts.
Scott Sweitzer, Sr. SS, Hand: Speed, intelligence and instincts make him a defensive force.
Nick van Dell, Jr. QB, Hand: Accumulated 2,653 total yards with 2,214 passing and 439 rushing.
Jake Ward, Sr. RB, Morgan-Clinton: Totaled 2,576 rushing yards on 298 attempts and had 41 rushing TDs.

the concern for in-state talent is looking more like yankee conf days

new coach is primarily a recruiter and is learning ojt to be ceo

he needs to recruit coast to coast and capitalize on UCONN as clg hoops center of attention and championship titles to build foosball program {what else does he have going for him?}

.
Does our scouting responsibilities map break Fairfield County off from the Hartford and Northern part of Connecticut?

From past experience, this list changes weekly once the season starts. The Courant will highlight the 15 players across the State who have had the best performances in the previous weekend's games as polled. The list appears in each Tuesday edition of the Courant.

Then this preseason list may be especially useful since for the most part it accumulates everything from last year.

The Courant is so poor in their HS football coverage. No mention of the two player (both D1 prospects) from Suffield Academy or any other prep school. No Fairfield County players.

Ummm... re-read the title of the article/OP.

Also - it only covers the Courant's primary coverage area (and they do claim the eastern shoreline). No Valley or SCC either.
