Bringing in a coach with a great resume is pointless if he has to work with the same players responsible for this terrible season.
The club has done done a good job of building a fan base and providing a nice game day experience.
Ramos brings a lot of credibility on the pitch to HA. That should help in the recruitment of players. At this point, getting to .500 next year would be an achievement and create some momentum. Best of luck to TR.
So they average 5,090 and capacity is 5,500.
That looks to be a little north of 90% capacity per game. I think that supports my post.
I still don't get the pointAnd held 10,000 a few years ago. Bonus points for right sizing though!
I still don't get the point
Then you failed there as well. You didn't put anything in perspective. There really wasn’t a point. Maybe just putting something in perspective.

OK porgNot my fault if you cant see it. So defensive.
It is well known that the Goats embellish and inflate their attendance numbers. I've been there plenty of times when the team announced it as a "sell out" and yet there were hundreds of empty seats. Not bad considering the Yard Goats were SRO just a couple miles down the road
So you're saying people show up dressed as empty seats?Goats don't need to inflate their numbers.
That would sound more impressive if it wasn't following the team's worst effort of the month in losing badly to traditional bottom feeder Loudoun. Not that anyone would notice.
But..... Athletic has been 4-1-1 since Ramos took over. Just sayin.
Details, detailsThat would sound more impressive if it wasn't following the team's worst effort of the month in losing badly to traditional bottom feeder Loudoun.
Team goes 5-1-1 over the last 7 and this guy wants to talk about the one loss. That would sound more impressive if it wasn't following the team's worst effort of the month in losing badly to traditional bottom feeder Loudoun.
Yes, because it was originally posted after they suffered a truly awful loss to a team that's been at the bottom of the table every year of its existence. Now that they rebound you find it convenient to take a shot at me. Fine. I want them to do well, but let's be accurate. Ramos actually didn't take over until the week of the the Tulsa home game. Since that time they are 3-1 with all games being against teams that have losing records and the three wins all being at home.Team goes 5-1-1 over the last 7 and this guy wants to talk about the one loss.
Fine. Guy goes 3-1 and this guy just wants to pee on the wins.Since that time they are 3-1 with all games being against teams that have losing records and the three wins all being at home.
Wow. Apprently you worship late season wins against teams that are out of the playoff race as being undeniably meaninigful indicators. Of what? Is Athletic ready to be a contender? It's fine to point out they are 3-1. It's also reasonable to point out that they were playing bad teams and the loss was to a team that had never defeated Athletic in 11 previous meetings. I just put some context around the results but apparently anything short of rah rah rah offends your delicate sensibilities. OK. Three cheers for the 3-1 Athletic! If they started the season over we'd be at the top! Are you happy now?Fine. Guy goes 3-1 and this guy just wants to pee on the wins.
