Nevada ran that same play nearly every down and went 13-1 last year. Lots of teams run an offense predicated on the zone read. I wish they would give McCummings more snaps.

Just a slight difference between that offense and this offense. They had a pretty darn good qb running the offense in Nevada, and he also could throw off that play.

Not saying there wasn't a difference ( I was at all but 3 of Nevada's games last year) Im just saying id like to see McCummings more and that you can win with a relatively "predictable" offense if you run it well.

actually, thought he played ok in the 2nd half. he's lucky he didnt get killed in 1st half. Mccombs wiffed a few times on his blocking assignments. noticed jean-louis as the up back alot more today.

Tonight wasn't all Mac's fault. He was getting killed for most of the game and had no chance.

That said, I counted about 5 dropped picks tonight. At least.
