Happy to see Vin Baker coaching a NBA Summer League team. Vin had to overcome some issues and it’s great to see him doing this. Vin always has been a nice guy.

I remember one early season Good Guys vs Hartford game at HCC when Vinny was a junior or senior where he put up about 20 in the first half. 6’11” and doing spin move pull up jumpers, he was clearly the best player on the floor at the time.

Played against him in a summer league years later at Conn College. He was head and shoulders above everyone there (height and basketball wise) and a really good dude even while effortlessly torching us.

I know he went through some rough times but glad to see him back in the game.

Whatever happened to Vin Baker jr? I will Google it right after this, but it was wild to see him play as a freshman for Fitch (I was there scouting and I was like wait a minute isn't that..................?), a year @ Ledyard, and then finished his high school days @ Old Saybrook.

Update: playing at Milwaukee (U of M I assume?) as a COVID Super Senior. Holy moly listed at 6'9" too, he sprouted.
