Bad loss? No doubt.

Head scratching coaching? Yep.

Individual box score lines to make you gag? Oh yeah.

Player decision making easy to criticize? Yes.

I'm actually depressed that I'll have limited access to the board today and tomorrow.

I hate posting the day after a loss with so many hot takes floating around, but the reality is that Temple was the better team last night. Their coaching staff had a much better game-plan than UConn and they were able to make the necessary adjustments that KO and the Huskies didn't account for. They deserved to win the game, fair and square.

As of right now, we are still 10-4 (1-1) with 2+ months left in the season. Just because we lost one game to Temple doesn't mean that we can't still win this conference and that the season isn't over. It's college basketball, teams lose games during the regular season. Heck, Cincinnati lost by seven at home against this same Temple team. Hopefully the team takes this in stride and are able to come out firing against Memphis on Saturday.
