The AZ starters were in the front row of their announcement video on ESPN and Courtney was on the far right. She looked great. Very happy that she goes out leading her team into the NCAAs. 538 makes them big favorites over Nebraska in the first round with little chance in the second.

Amen! Good for Courtney to start on a team that is not only ranked, but in the NCAA's. Good for her.

On the other had, USC got ripped off by being left out. Oklahoma, which lost 14 games, gets in over USC? Strange decision, and not fair. But congratulations to Sadie Edwards for starting on a strong USC team. Both she and Courtney have done well for themselves after transferring. Only wish they'd remained; I'm guessing that they would have developed well, though they would not have started or played as much as they have in their new basketball homes. Happy for them!

Natalie Butler got her team into WNIT, led the nation in rebounding and was her conference POY.
De'Janae Boykin's team Penn State is also heading into the WNIT.
USC should have been offered a WNIT bid but I don't see USC on the list of WNIT teams.
Well done by all UCONN WCBB transfers.

ASU is playing well right now. They have something they didn't have at the beginning of the season: Confidence. Should they get past Nebraska, then the next game will not be easy for ASU's probable next opponent (Texas). ASU is a very good defensive team, and excellent offensive rebounding team. Their coach is experienced in the NCAAs, and, ASU nearly beat South Carolina last year.

Man, I was saddened when USC didn't get invited. USC could've made their mark in the tournament. USC Trojans are such a unique team, and, I think would have caused fits for a lot of teams. Oh well, not surprised either.

The USC men and women both got left out of the field, both are fairly surprising. There can't be any other school in the country with more of a beef with the selection committees than USC.

Courtney has another year to play if she so chooses. She is a red shirt junior.
