Hall Of Fame Game Boston-BYU

How good are those upper seats?
I wouldn't go to far up, the distance is pretty significant, Row 16 is the last row, I believe. If you are going to get upper bowl I always shoot for Rows 1 and 2 in particular sections, like section 318. There are a few sections where the first two rows are separated with more comfortable seating, and table top in front and the price isn't much different, if at all compared to a few rows further up or a normal first row section so I think they're always good value ticket.

PSA: I can't see any surge in hype between now and 11/15, or even the December game with Florida @ MSG. Tickets are already at $103 w/ fees on StubHub.

I predict tickets will be $35 (or less) w/ fees on that Friday night 11/14 (or on gameday), but definitely understand the desire to buy in advance, and the comfort of knowing that one's tickets are in hand

... will come back to this post in November, to own this prediction, either way.

I dont know about $35 but I definitely see them going down in price. That's alot of seats to fill with an opponent from Utah.

no doubt, or from anywhere - I can't see 19,500 fans in TD Garden in November, but I will be there

I try to go to just about every UConn & Duke neutral site game, annually, for the last 20+ years.

The hype leading up is always there, then one gets to the games (Maui, Battle 4 Atlantis, Puerto Rico Shootout, Jimmy V, Champions Classic, etc.) and while super exciting, reality is that it's still Fall, and portions of the stadium are often curtained off to stage a more condensed environment for TV, lol

... the above said, the early-season environments and games are always awesome ... and equally important, super cheap w/ patience!

Preview to ticket price action the week of 11/15

Agreed. I don't think they were expecting a lot of BYU fans but they were probably expecting UConn fans to fill the place after what happened in Boston against Illinois in the Elite 8 game. But there's a big difference between a game on November 15 and one with the chance to go to the Final Four.

Normally, I would agree with you, but BYU has always had tremendous fans and are well known to every bowl committee because they put fans in the seats. Basketball may be a different story but the enthusiasm for this team appears to be off the charts and whereby I normally would expect 2K fans I wouldn’t be surprised if 6k show up in Boston.

I think BYU fans will show up as they have had months to plan a trip to Boston, unlike the NCAAs where you had a day or two to plan to be in Boston.

An opponent from Utah with a strong fan base, including many alumni and non-BYU alumni alike in major Atlantic Seaboard cities who shockingly support the Cougars with a religious fervor.
