It's about time Pasqualoni made some adjustments instead of standing on the sidelines with his hands on his hips looking lost after every play. How much longer can his stick with McEntee? At least McCummings can run the option and produce some positive yards on offense. Starting the game 1-12 passing should be a clue that our passing offense is totally inept. At least let McCummings play and have some threat of a running QB to keep defenses off guard. Teams can just blitz McEntee at will. The line doesn't pass block well enough and McEntee panics before rushers arrive. He doesn't stand a chance out there.

The defense is another mess. They can be effective at stopping the run, but we don't have DB's that can cover. We continue to play 10 yards off of receivers and let QB's pick us apart at will. Sunsieri going for over 400? He had 1200 yards coming into the game. Something has to change.

McEntee is the tip of the iceberg. Look under the surface and you see massive problems and failures, mostly resulting from plain ole coaching and leadership. PP is tired and impotent.

I don't know. In many respects this season is going pretty much as I thought it would. The offense is at least more imaginative and if we had a quarterback would be pretty good. the defense is a mess but I really did think that would happen. the difference in defensive approach is so vast that I'm not shocked it hasn't worked well. Now I admit that I didn't expect us to lose to Western Michigan and Vandy, but I thought there was at least an even money chance this year would be not very good. there have been a bunch of headscratching decisions along the way for sure. The early season quarterback mess continues to bother me. Especially when it ended with the same guy who pretty much had the job on Day 1. And blowing a redshirt while doing it...I don't get it and I don't understand it.

Herbst has a different agenda. She's looking to raise the endowment and with the State strapped, fundraising is key. Sports is the front porch of a major university. If the porch is run down, and in need of paint, few will visit the inside. Think she'll tolerate the deterioration of our main athletic programs? Her early move on Hathaway speaks to this. Had she been President for a year before Edsall left, think she would have been a background player in the selection process? Think she would have ignored the input of big time donors (Burton, etal)? Think she wouldn't have factored in the impact of a more dynamic hire for UConn. Rest assured she's watching closely.

Lighten up Francis. It is a double entendre . You watch too many Viagra comercials. The term " Impotent" (1st definition) means "Lacking physical strength or vigor; weak." The second definiton relates to sexual performance of the Pee Pee, as opposed to the on field performance of PP.

Whether we like it, or not, we will have PP through next year and the year after.
Obviously he needs to go after 2013 if things don't change. But, he has to be given a chance.
