The Huskies finally get a solid performance on both sides of the ball.

McCoombs runs for 100 and Johny Mac throws for 225 with the Moores and Griffin as primary recipients.

Defense settles in and we get some more promising play from young pup Tymer Brown. Smallwood (love this kid) is huge.

It isn't particularly pretty, but it's a W 20-17.

Huskies 24
USF 10

WVU was the best team we'll see all year and we hung with them for almost 3 quarters. At their place. Everything comes together this week and we roll USF.

The huskies bounce back from a rough week in morgantown and give the home crowd something to cheer about.
UCONN- 27
USF- 20

Seem to find a way againt USF, even in the darker days. If the Huskies have the same old grittiness and toughness as old Huskies, predict an ugly, yet badly needed win.
UCONN 16
USF 13.

I say they play angry and take it to USF with a rockin house behind them... 27-17

I think USF is a good team that could be in the same class as WVU if they had a better QB. But they don't. Daniels gets frazzled the longer the game is close, and I think UConn can get him to make some second half mistakes.

UConn 24, USF 20.

I think this team can catch the inner fire that last year's found and it will start against USF. If Johnny Mac can keep his cool he has the talent to lead the Dogs to a season changing win. Dogs 31-23.

Finally a good game on both sides of the ball, against a tough USF team. Dogs prevail 27-20

I can't see this team beating a good team and I think South Florida is a good team. they have the type of attack that will give us fits, too. USF 27-UCONN 17.

Need some short fields. USF seems like a speed defense which could give us trouble given not a real pound it running game this year. Also, concerned about mobile QB. Uconn gets 3 turnovers and winds 23-17 with last minute hold by defense.

I'll be there again.

UConn 22
USF 15

McEntee throws 120+, 2 TDs and Teggart is the main attraction.

Not to be a downer but the way Uconn has played I have to be realistic

USF - 41
Uconn - 23

until we can prove we know how to win I am going with 30-17- USF. Our D makes QB's look like P. Manning.

I still cant beleive we hold a team to (I think it was 11 yards rushing) and loose

I'll play along and say that our offense keeps it more consistent and can deliver in the red zone. UConn defense keeps the big plays to a minimum...

UConn 24
USF 20

This is a I'm tired of losing game, the D gets comfortable with the new pieces(TB&BJ).
The O plays mad and shows some marbles.

Let's say
DOGS -27
ANGUS'-13

Last pick of an OT loss was on it's way until we imploded. This week no implosion. If JMac has recovered from the pounding, offense and defense tighten down the screws for a nice win.

27-17 Dogs

UConn 26 USF 24

For the 3rd straight year, Teggart boots the late game-winner.

USF 38 UConn 18

but we do succeed on 6 out of 7 FG attempts, 4 > 50 yards
