I wonder if Amida being named captain is more about pushing Amida to step up to a different level, to see himself as a leader and to carry the weight of high expectations. I initially thought it was an odd and surprising choice, and now I hope it was not too much, too soon. But, as always, trust in KO to guide the ship.

While it may have that effect, I do not believe Brimah was appointed captain by Coach Ollie. The team voted. Coach potentially naming a third capt. doesn't necessarily indicate how the first two were selected.

I kind of thought this role went to a UConn student, is this new chick at least a grad student or anything or she's just hired as a professional on screen reporter? Just from having seen her in the first night vid, I think she has a future. I'll always have a soft spot for Noonan, but this chick has it, she's very natural and engaging on camera and I mean that in a completely innocent manner, I think she has a future in sports reporting

I agree completely. She comes across as a really smart young woman who knows her and is prepared. Emily was a tad ditsy, Erika is a definate upgrade.

Last year was a 5. You have to keep improving.
Level 5 = national champion effort. Level 5.5 is back to back national champions effort.
