Guess the line against Houston

Bored on a bye week, what do you think the line will be against Houston? I know it obviously depends quite a bit on how Houston/Memphis goes this week but I can't wait until then.

I'm guessing -11.0 towards them.

Yeah, I'm thinking around 11 too. Anything more than 2 TDs would probably sway too much movement to UConn. Anything less than 10 would probably do the same for Houston. 11 seems to be one of those 'meet me in the middle' opening lines that would stir up some movement to Houston, but not too much.

+13 if Houston wins this week

+9.5 if they lose

We are DOOMED based on the line, but I love rooting for the underdog!!! Against all odds I picked UConn to win ONE of the next 2 games!!!

I agree that it depends on Houston's outcome this week. But if I had to put a number on it now I would say Houston -14

I think 13. Two touchdowns is a psychological barrier I think that would send way to much UConns way. To get over that magic # you really need a mismatch like Army or a Central Florida or a really bad Sunbelt team. Against a middle of the road conference opponent on the road you are not opening plus 2 touchdowns.

I'm saying we're at the minimum a -12 point dog here, at least... Let's be honest, our offense is'nt exactly lighitng up the nation, and if it werent for our nasty secondary we would have lost last week to a terrible Tulane team, and a few other games as well.

We CAN pull this one off, regardless of that if our Defense can play 4 quarters of football at the high level they're capable of, and we can capitolize on the turnovers- which we've done poorly with. On Offense, take the points where they come, even if that means a 40 yard FG for 3 on the board instead of going for it, running the ball on 4th and 2.
