Unless its raining or there are multiple clouds........then 19,000

Are we talking actual attendance, announced attendance or the attendance of old men 20 years from now saying they were at the Maine game when we had our first perfect season?
A) 27,801
B) 31,773
C) 1 million

.-.
the top draw last year was Navy at around 33,000 and Villanova brought in around 26K in the opener. 28,500 would be a substantial uptick given timing and its Maine. But, that bodes well for the season. Nice solid whooping will help build momentum.

27750 ish... it's thursday night, holiday weekend, and the state hasn't notice our team is going to win a lot of games yet...

21k at kickoff, 30k around mid second quarter, 15k by the end of the game.

.-.
27,500. I can't go myself and am awaiting for the Marketplace to go live so I can try to sell my tickets. Can't make Thursday night games in Hartford when I have to work to 6 PM in North Jersey.

I'll predict 29,500. But how many will be in their seats by pregame and kickoff? Lets see if we can surpass the Fordham turnout in 2011. That would be nice.

When we include my two seasonticket seats which will be occupied, 30,o74. But, extended forecast for Thursday night is calling for 99% chance of rain. Casual fans won't show up if it rains. Then, its 24,914.

.-.
30,000 if no rain... 22,000 if rain shows up. Uconn wins either way.

@rich1122 is your avatar from the catacombs in Paris? I saw them this summer. Very cool attraction.

EDIT: oh yeah, attendance numbers...filled student section until halftime. Let's say just south of 30k.

That's why they invented the half day :)

I save those for Friday night games, especially as I usually stay overnight in Hartford after the game instead of driving back to N Jersey at 11 P at night. I can't do that on Thursday nights as I have to work the next day.

The worst part of working in Academia is that Sep 1 is the first day of classes at Yale so there is no way I can leave work early on the first day all these kids show up.

I hear you. Need to take more than one half day. I'm taking both days off. Flying back from business trip Thursday morning, picking up son from school and then heading up. Friday off to Wisconsin for Wisconsin / LSU on Saturday.

I can think of a lot worse things then spending my first day back at work checking out the latest batch of young co-eds.
