If you like offense G'town blows a 4-2 lead in final 17 minutes, now going to overtime tied 4-4
It was first time all year G'town scored more than 3 goals. I agree we go into our defensive shell every year for both tournaments and usually get sent home prematurely. It should be noted, UConn beat Georgetown in DC this year. A very winnable game if they got by Indiana and of course if they could have protected their home field and beat Creighton. But you don't advance this time of year scoring 0-1 goals.
In Reid's mind a perfect game is a 0-0 tie with no shots on goal by either team.Someone send a copy to Ray Reid. Imagine that, players playing cohesive offensive soccer in high pressure situations. Putting the goal into the net is the goal right? Rather lose 5-4 than 1-0.
