really hoping this series goes to 7 and the grizz move on, i feel this has been the best series so far... i love caron but i want rudy to get more exposure and playoff experience... and wishful thinking a ring

Caron again off to a great start!

....because of terrible d by Rudy, Grizz are playing the way they should've been from the jump of the series, focusing on Marc/ZBo and establishing that inside game.

Are you serious? The greatest basketball mind of our generation says they need to play through Rudy!

rudy nice fade away... grizz doing work right now, them and the pacers are vastly underrated

this is the most physical and loudest series so far

.-.
Now they just have to hold on, I hope unlike in Games 1 & 3 they don't forget what got them this lead. My biggest concern is I know BG & CP3 are about up the flopping to max level to try to make up this deficit.

I've asked this before and have been shot down by our fellow NBA experts, but why didn't the Clippers just trade for Ben Gordon?

Is he overpaid? No doubt. Is he one dimensional? Yup. But I'm sorry, if the Clippers are serious about contending for a title, and keeping Chris Paul in L.A. past 2013, that's a move that would have helped immensely. I'm pretty sure the Clippers are well under the cap, Gordon's contract is up in two years, and the Pistons would have been thrilled just to get rid of Gordon's contract and wouldn't have asked for much.

Ben Gordon takes the Clippers from a cute story to a legitimate title contender. Him and Chris Paul are a match made in heaven--an actual PG that knows how to get him the ball off screens. They suddenly have a second crunch time scorer, somebody who lives for the big moment.

As I said, he's overpaid, but if you have to swallow a bad contract to greatly improve your team, that's what you have to do. There is no player in the NBA more dependent on his environment than Ben Gordon.

Think of Ben Gordon and Caron Butler on the wings coupled with a two likeable players in Griffin and Paul. Would have been my favorite NBA team ever.

yeah ben gordon would be a great fit there, he needs to get out of detroit asap... still say the bulls were very stupid for letting him go

they're seriously bout to blow another lead again, I've never seen a team a brick like this whenever pressure is applied to them.

it's not a board game, you actually have to have pieces to put together to come close to BG's salary in a trade and after the CP3 trade they don't have that.

Rudy with a big save off an offensive rebound and the sealing drive and layup. CP3 aggravated his groin, Game 6 is must see TV.

Again, how is Griffin likeable?

Agreed, I like watching both of them play but I can't stand either him or CP3 with all of that flopping.

Yeah, I just tried it on the trade machine, and you're right. The Clippers really don't have the flexibility to make a trade like that. Still would have worked out well from an X's and O's perspective, though.

I'm kind of getting sick of the Clippers. Love watching CP3, but the team just doesn't appear built to knock off anyone great. Other than an elite PG and overachieving PF in Griffin (whos flopping is getting ridiculous but does hustle and work in the trenches as hard as anyone) it's pretty much a patchwork collection of shooting guards and mediocre forwards. Honestly I have a hard time believing they're better than Memphis even if they win this in six... Hollins has just slightly out-awfuled Vinny's coaching. I guess it just shows how one elite player can make such a difference late in games.

Yea I agree, even if the Grizzlies lose I still think they're the better and more talented team, CP3 has just been that good down the stretch and Hollins has done the unthinkable and been outcoached by Vinny Del Negro of all people in this series. I don't think this Grizzlies team will be able to knock off the Spurs like last year but I think they would make it a more competitive series, I'd be shocked if Spurs/Clippers would go more than 5 games.

.-.
big game tonight, hoping to go to game 7 and with a grizz win... i think rudy and caron will have big nights, the both looked pissed during last game

We've got another good one! Rudy startin' to hit some shots.

Weird game. For awhile, The Clips were getting steals and getting stops every time on D. I thought the Clips had this one. They went up 8, and now the Griz are doing the same thing on D and are up 5.

clippers have no foul cheat on. they cant punch, slap and abuse memphis players and fouls are called after 5 seconds

I already said the Grizzlies should of swept this awful Clippers team if it wasnt for idiotic coaching by Lionel Hollins and for playing the brutal OJ Mayo so many minutes when the guy is the NBA version of DeAndre Daniels when it comes to making plays. Grizzlies are good playing through Mike Conley and Rudy Gay and in the post with Gasol, Zebo, and Speights off the bench.

P.S. Rudy is a closer and is playing in his first playoff series, he is still their leading scorer this series. That Memphis team is confused as whose their best player and or closer should be because sometimes its Rudy, sometimes Gasol, and sometimes Zebo. Zebo is the heart and soul of their team. The genius Lionel Hollins kept Rudy and Mike Conley on the bench for half the game including from the start of the second half until 4 minutes to go at halftime when the Clippers made a big run on them with their second unit.

i think the memphis crowd will be too much along with the grizzlies team today

Mike Conley is singlehandedly losing Memphis this game. I just tuned in -- why is Rudy on the bench with 8 minutes left?

Watched parts of the 1st half (Mother's Day), and missed the 2nd half (work). Looking at the box score, Conley and Mayo really struggled. Too bad, I wanted the Grizz to advance. At least we still have Caron to root for.
