Listening to the broadcast Hurley said we were playing too nice
We were winning on really pretty offense 1 st half but Georgetown was the first team to play this well on their offense by using the dribble drive and force into the lane. We weren’t playing tenacious D( give gtown credit for making some shots as well) In the 2 Nd half the pretty left the offense and the defense was still sub par UNTIL we subbed for diarra Joey and Donovan.all of a sudden we had intense ball pressure w a combo of rim protection and really did the same on the offense.
Listening to we’re number 1 no one matches us etc. is a recipe for disaster. We learned tonight that we have to win by playing w force on both ends for 40 min.
The great part is we won learning the lesson!!
