Unlike her whining coach, she took the loss on herself.

I think Louisville won because:
  1. Baylor was out-coached.
  2. Louisville was unable to take advantage of their big being double/triple teamed.
  3. Louisville players followed instructions.

Kim did make coaching errors in that last defensive set up. Putting your 6'8" shot blocking, but slow of foot star at mid court where she was vulnerable to being run past and end up playing trail D was not a good choice. To her defense she did not have a timeout to set her D, did she?

No she didn't, and she talked about that in the presser.

Baylor lost because Loiuisville started 16-22 from 3pt.

Then Louisville almost lost because their coach did not slow the damn game down.

I think Griner showed a lot of class in such an emotional loss.......More so than her coach.

But Louisville won that game by hitting an unconscious 16-of-25 3's......AT THE RIGHT TIME!! 3's are fine , but when they come at the right time they can be momentum swings. EVERYTIME Baylor made a move , Louisville had an answer. And many times it was a 3-pointer. Those 3's just drained the emotion back out of the Baylor players. I never thought Louisville would win going in , but they deserved it.

Did not hear the interviews. Did tape the second half. OUr little gathering here did not see any "congrats line" between the teams after the game....speaking of class. Does anyone know for sure either way about that???? We also felt over here that GRiner seemed in a bit of a "fog"....just the very passive look on her face alot??? My eyes arent so hot, but others here (some bad vision there as well) had the same vibe.??
