Why run Anderson at the end? Come on.

Also--Dunleavy didn't use a TO that half, could've used it during the 8-0 run. Now he lost it.

Considering they went the middle 10 minutes of the half with only 2 baskets, have to be happy up 8. Holding Tulane to 29.6% shooting and outrebounding them.

“We’re getting some great minutes out of Onourah” - not something I expected to say / think today.
Quality minutes in the first half.

Great D, surprisingly good half out of DO! The defense and rotation are starting to click. Just need better scoring up front.

Shabazz in town to talk to the team. Adams looking more and more like a true point guard. Anderson playing better, and shooting 30% better from the free throw line than his career average. Hell, DO is playing better. Sharing. Better shot selection.

Sounds to me like some good coaching...

Whoever claims JA is not a point guard has their head in the sand.

I think the problems he’s had the last two years stem from Ollie trying to make him into a shooting guard to fit in Gilbert. Adams simply isn’t very good in that role. Even recently Anderson was starting. Adams needs to play as the PG.

We were basically running a stall the last 3 possessions. Going to Anderson for the last shot had to be a screw up. We should not lose this game. Getting the bigs to finish would really help. Carlton should have had a one step monster jam on the feed from JA at the start of the game and it was all he could do to catch it. Diarra being 6'6" has to use the left hand on layups from that side. Larrier has to know his limitations. The 1-3-1 actually helps us rebound with the quicker guards going after it while others box out.
