This is a horrible game. Well, we know 2 teams the Huskies don't have to worry about.
 
The foul calls are a little bit out of control. North Carolina getting called for everything and South Carolina getting called for hardly anything.
 
Hatchell should probably stop complaining to the refs during her timeout and tell her post player Mavunga to play under control. Amazes me a HOF coach is not running her offense through A. Gray... her most composed player.

Would you call that last foul? Mavunga bulldozes her way through 3 SOUTH CAROLINA players for a reverse layup? No fouls on non basketball moves is how I see it.

I'm sorry for all the mean things I've ever said about AAC games. They exhibited more basketball skills than these two titans of power five conferences who apparently are great at dribbling off their feet but not so great at putting the ball in the hoop. 13 minutes left in the game and neither team has 40 points. And yet we complain when we don't have 50 by half.

Boy this is some of the worst executed offense I've seen in this Tourney so far. And you don't get the impression it has to do with any great defense being played. Just terrible decisions. It's an exciting game but just a mess of execution. Unfortunately having Peck do it makes it nearly unbearable.
 
Geno would lose his mind. Apparently other coaches are clapping and chanting "S-E-C" and "A-C-C" so it's all good. How many basketball titles for the "poor" AAC and how many for the vaunted ACC and SEC?

These refs are terrible- they are doing their best to keep So Car in the tmt!
 
As for drama, I guess this game delivers. :) One thing I agree with the commentators about is that for the moment, UNC looks more loose out there. Still plenty of time though.

You have a 3 point lead, the ball and a full shot clock and Coleman jacks up a quick shot for UNC!?!?

I don't get it!
 
So many "low value" fouls. Not sure what % of them is the way the game is being called, and what % is poor decision making on defense.
 
No shortage of talent on the floor, but wondering if any of the players have been taught how to strategically play basketball. Wowzers.

It's the ACC. They suck at basketball. When was the last time one of their teams won a title?
 
That's so funny. All Gaines was trying to do was get a call with that massive flop and shot goes in!!

It's just incredible how stupid NC is. That previois possession was huge. They come down with a 3 point lead and jack up an instant shot. And when it doesn't go in they commit a foul. Just amazingly stupid. Probably turned the game around.

Plus she seems to have to put the ball on the floor all the time. Can't make a move without it.

UNC runs the same dribble handoff twice, neither time does South Carolina play help defense.
 
South Carolina ever being ranked number one in the country is hilarious.

I am a native Hawkeye, and I changed channels at the half. Lisa just doesn't have a physical enough team to stay with BU.
