Same data as posted earlier this afternoon in the "2017 UConn Pro Day/UConn in 2017 NFL Draft/UDFA Contracts" thread but figured it would be worth it's own thread.

Standard Free Agent Contracts signed:

Noel Thomas - 3 year contract w/ Lions
2017 - $465k
2018 - $555k
2019 - $645k

Andreas Knappe - 3 years w/ Falcons
2017 - $465k
2018 - $555k
2019 - $645k

Richard Levy - 3 years w/ 49'ers
2017 - $465k
2018 - $555k
2019 - $645k

John Green - 3 years w/ Titans
2017 - $465k
2018 - $555k
2019 - $645k

Obi has not signed his contract yet and nothing yet on Myers, Williams or Puyol (pending their camp performances).

Wow. 2 of our lineman were NFL players. Imagine if we had a real OC.

Does anyone know what happens if they end up on the practice squad? I am under the impression that they only get a whiff of that money if they make the roster. If order to get to the practice squad, they're cut and then signed as PS players at a lower rate, right?

Okay I read this on practice squads...

$6900/wk miminum coming out of college ain't bad.

Being signed to squad as of now guarantees money over the summer and keeps them in condition. $6900/wk for 18 weeks is okay too while they search for a roster spot.

NFL contracts are not guaranteed. They get paid if they stay on the roster.

Exactly.

Which is why is nice for these guys to be under contract over the summer. It's something to hold over and they get use of facilities.

Compare that situation to players who aren't on a roster who need a source of income and security.

The signing bonus is what they take now. Some will get as much as $35,000 and others will get a couple of thousand at most.
