Saw Kemba, AJ, TO and RJ Evans in action last night against Giffey's team.

Giffey looked like the Giffey of last season. AJ looked healthy and played fantasic. Great range on his jumpshot and really looks like a seasoned pro. Kemba played his normal game. TO looked a bit stronger and was very active on the boards. I think he will show some improvement this year. RJ Evans is built real solid and plays like a senior/post grad. Not the most athletic guard, but strong and has a good head for the game.

Pro Am playoffs start tonight with a play in game, then really get going wednesday night.

Is that a good thing or a bad thing?

That'll depend on how everyone else plays next season. The Giffey of last year could be a decent complementary player on most any team.

Kahari Beaufort had 42 tonight in the pro am, not bad for a kid entering his junior year in high school.

I forgot to mention that Gavin was also on Kemba's team. He looks more mobile than he was at UConn and was blocking shots are rebounding real well. He definitely shows that he has D league/overseas experience. Nice to see 6 Uconn guys on the floor at once.

Bazz was there as a spectator and hung with everyone else after the game.

Whose on the other team in that it would be remotely fair to put AJ and Kemba on the same team?

AJ's team lost a close game last night to a very good Harte Nissan team led by Ryan Gomes, Lamonte Ulmer, Keith Cothran and Dale Saunders. Kemba was not there due to an NBA related commitment.

In the other semi final, a team led by Dyson, Wiggins, Kuran Iverson and Danny Lawhorn advanced. The finals are a best of three and begin tonight at Classical Magnet.
