Great WSJ story on KO

I said last year that Kevin was going to become a media darling, and a coach that NBA-destined players will want to play for. This article is awesome, summing up all the wonderful things about Kevin.

"No coach in Final Four history was still playing in the NBA as recently as Ollie..."

"There's a reason every GM brought him in," said former Indiana Pacers star and teammate Reggie Miller, who is now a Turner Sports analyst. "I don't think anyone would have a bad word about him. If you find that one person, I guarantee he got paid off."
---------------------------------

WSJ is refreshing to read compared to the always looking for UConn scandal or denigration ESPN, Yahoo, and Courant writers. KO has received, thankfully for UConn, a lot of good press. I'm sure, however, ESPN is looking around for something negative.

A lot of glowing articles all over about KO this week. Gotta love it.

Reggie stole that from me.

Do you realize that YOU are doing exactly what you accuse those publications of doing. A good story is out there and you insist on bringing up the bad.

Looking at this pic, Ollie should hang his jersey from each team he played for in his office. "Oh, you want to play in the NBA? I've got a little experience with that." Recruits would scrambling to sign on the dotted line.

Quite frankly, we can now dare to dream that the Kevin Ollie era augments what Jim Calhoun built at UConn.
