Happy isn't the right word. I was looking forward to the prospects of a more exciting half court offense orchestrated by a 13 year NBA point guard. We basically still run the same stuff. That's what I meant.
Meh. You do what it takes to win. You don't get extra points for style. If our best offensive option at a given time is to let Bazz break people down, then so be it. We won a title a couple years ago with Kemba doing the same. By the way bazz's step back is getting lethal and very Kemba like. That's nba stuff right there.
I'll take wins and titles rather than a second coming of the aesthetically pleasing Pete carill offense every day.

When Omar, Boat, and DeAndre can't hit shots, you're going to abandon running sets to get them open when Bazz can score damn near @ will or draw contact in a 1on1 matchup with no double team coming. If Omar hits one of the many open looks he had or if DeAndre doesn't have a couple of his good looks rim in and out, there would be less complaining about the offense and in turn you wouldn't see Bazz resort to 1on1 play. Also, Giffey needs to adjust to the fact that teams have gameplanned for him. Guys are closing out hard on him, show the ball and take a couple of dribbles and get into the lane, he did that in the 2nd half and earned a trip to the free throw line.

IU would lose by 20+ to the elite teams, MSU, UK, KU, Puke, Ville.

What a stupid (not to mention untrue) post. Maybe Louisville would. That's about it. Guess you missed MSU struggling at home this week vs Portland and Columbia. Not to mention Duke get beat off the dribble repeatedly vs East Carolina.

Be nice if the trolls could at least troll well and base it on something resembling reality.

What impresses me the most is just how good Napier is. He tries to involve his teammates. If it works, good. If not, he takes over and has been virtually unstoppable.
