I have posted from time to time that every year I buy a couple of books or such on coaching and basketball theory. This yeat I purchased a book on the Princeton offense for high school basketball but the gem I picked up was the four disc DVD from All Access called All Access: Geno Auriemma. It is video of the first four days of practice and how the Huskies begin the season. The organization of practice didn't surprise me, not a moment is wasted, but the amount of material from running drills and specific goals for the drills and defensive techniques and rotations, etc. The pace is amazing and the focus for players, especially, freshmen is incredibly demanding. It is a tremendous example of how demanding the players.
