Great performance

I was talking to someone who mentioned they had an early day and might drop at halftime (old guy) and I said "Let's see what Hurley does to adjust in the 2nd half".

Couldn't be happier to see the run they went on to take this game over. Adjustments are everything in college hoops and Coach got a big + from me tonight.

If you told me before the game that Bouknight and Martin would total less than 10 points combined and we would win the game by 11 I would have called you crazy! Polley showing some dribble skills to set up his shot which I love and Whaley just doing everything you need to be a winning team. Great performance.

The Pitt comeback, we were down 24? at the half and were ahead by the 10 minute mark of the, maybe earlier, the second half. I think of that game a lot.

Ranks right up there as one of the best comebacks I can recall. The one UMass one where we’re down like 25 in the 90s probably still takes the cake.
Number -wise or point spread, yes. But quality-wise, this is against a high-major on their floor so this is more impressive being against a far superior opponent.

This is the one I was thinking of. Down 34-9 and ended up winning by 11. Thought it was in the 90s but happened in ‘02 season.

Great comeback! I remember watching this game when i was 12 years old but for whatever reason completley forgot about it.

Also forgot about the fact that there was ESPN +Plus back then. Now and days us fans would do anything to avoid watching them play on ESPN +

Also can we acknowledge how much fun it is seeing the bench reactions?! They were all hype for Tyler and it was fun to watch! Also noticed that Andre Jackson is always so hype for his teammates - glad to see him so involved especially after a tough couple games and an injury. I severely miss seeing the bench reactions at games played at Gampel this year. Really don't like the fact that we moved the benches to the opposite side because of freaking ads.

I remember that UMass game vividly. Its still crazy to this day that we were down 34-9, and came back to win the game comfortably. It's one thing to be down 25, but to be down 25 points while only scoring 9 in the first half just makes it even worse.
