Great interview with Rebecca on Paige's greatness

A fun watch:

Rebecca is just awesome!

This is a wonderful display of Rebecca’s brilliant insight to the sport, the UConn program, and players as people. She is, by far, the best analyst around; explaining the nuance of plays in unbiased, digestible terms, subtly giving a tutorial from an insider’s point of view. Obviously, I am a big fan!

I agree Rebecca is such a professional and super unbiased considering her legendary ties with Uconn

If you haven't already seen Rebecca Lobo's Springfield Hall of Fame induction speech go on YouTube and watch it! It is well worth the time to do so!
All UConn recruits thinking of maybe going to UConn should have to watch it!

Lobo may be the most articulate spokesperson for WCBB.
Regarding the question about how important was the NC to Paige’s legacy, if she hadn’t won it would always come up in discussing or debating her place as a UConn great. So ya it was important.

I 100% agree with the all the above posts.
The part I liked best, was when Lobo discussed the extra pressure a UConn recruit faces vs. at other schools. The expectations on players here dwarfs everywhere else. Trying to meet those expectations is a challenge.
Please read Amari DeBerry's instagram saying good-bye to Maryland. She enjoyed her time at UConn but it nearly destroyed her love of basketball and life. Yikes.
Lobo stated that Paige embraced those challenges and performed at such a high level that was remarkable.
Worth a listen.

Thanks for posting this. I might not have watched this video because there are so many things to watch, but after your post I did and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It is a terrific listen.
