Great Game against ND/ My glass half full thoughts

This was a great and exciting game. It reminded me of our rivalry against TENN. The only difference is against TENN we used to win more of the games. The game could have gone either way. We need to continue our series against ND.

My thoughts with glass half full glasses.
Kiah Stokes was injured and didn't play. Notre Dame is thin in the post. A healthy Kiah will give us more depth.
Our freshman (Moriah and Morgan) are developing at a slower pace. There is nothing wrong with that. Come March they will be ready and will hopefully be able to contribute more minutes.
We did get some quality minutes from Breanna, but she didn't always make the best decisions. She's still learning and will continue to improve and get better. We didn't see the best of her against Notre Dame. We already saw the best of Jewell Lloyd already with Notre Dame.
KML went to the bench with 4 fouls. We need her in the game and she needs to get more minutes.

Bring on Round 2. We will be ready. I am not worried.

I forgot to mention that Brianna Banks only played 10 minutes. She needs to play 20.

So we lost. What could we expect? It's a down year for women's basketball. LOL!
