Jet Blue presently has non-stop tickets to NYC for just under $ 300, by far the cheapest price I've seen in months and it's < a 3 hour flight
I purchased my flight to Nassau a while back for < $ 200 (Sunday morning)

Just for emphasis, this is a one way flight home. Because it's Thanksgiving week, these tickets are usually much more. The flights down are much cheaper
