The line "sometimes you need to confront somebody" is really the only line in there that offers real insight. My interpretation is that Jeremy thinks he needs the ball more. My advice to Jeremy if I were Shabazz would be "watch Ray and Rip tapes, put in that kind of effort to get open and you'll get the ball". Honestly, Shabazz is a good scorer and is better off the dribble than Jeremy. The wings need to work hard to get open and the bigs need to work hard to set screens, otherwise, Shabazz has to score and pound the ball. He can't get guys involved if they aren't creating space. He is better off just taking it himself since he is the best ball handler and shooter out there.

I agree to an extent, but honestly I cant even begin to count the number of times I've seen our bigs work for solid position & create space and not get the ball because Shabazz is pounding the ball and/or simply not looking for them. I do agree that Lamb needs to incorporate more cuts, misdirections, etc. in order to get himself free.. but that is also much more fatiguing to do all game long when you are playing nearly 40 minutes a game. Especially mentally fatiguing if you aren't getting rewarded with the ball by your PG when you do bust your ass to get open.

Pretty much, it all boils down to everyone needing to play better as a team and build the chemistry to where you practically know what your teammate is going to do before he even does it.
