Geno Auriemma appeared to give associate coach Chris Dailey, who has been on his staff at UConn since the beginning, a very public nod Saturday

Geno is ready to retire...
Nope - I don't think so. I think he is just as excited about figuring it all out again next year and working with Lou and Napheesa as he has ever been.

I think what you are seeing is the pressure that trying to make this season perfect for Stewart and Jefferson and Tuck has put on the coaching staff and particularly Geno. He cares so deeply about those three and getting them across the finish line. They don't seem to be affected by it nearly as much as he is. They are running around having a lark, and he is sitting in his room worrying about ever little thing that could go wrong!

I agree... I think he loves this trio, didnt take much to make them what he wanted them to be

I read that. "Appeared"? Was there even a question. Of course, Geno recognized CD.

Someone posted link that showed a portion of the video, but I'd love to see the whole thing, especially where he gives CD credit and tells Stewie to start talking.

Actually, has it was some of the hardest work the staff has had.
