Gotta Push The Ball

My one real complaint this year is our refusal to consistently push the ball. I'm fine with stagnant half court offense. I've seen good teams struggle in half court. It's not always easy to be a proficient half court team. But our refusal to push the ball needs to be corrected. It's a bit inexcusable.

I'm not sure why we never did. It seemed like we had the wings. My current assumption is Dan Hurley was not comfortable with our guards ability to do so.

Anyways, we had/have some athletes. We might as well use them and push the ball. Hopefully we'll see some changes in this area next year.

We need to improve the guard play in a big way. Cole/Gaffney are simply not AJ Price, Dyson, Kemba, Napier, etc... Gaffney had enough trouble just passing to people in the same uniform at times. Hoping the new guys next year prove to be a step in that direction.
