This makes perfect sense. For most teams, their players develop over the year so a combine now would be old data, but its not Calipari actually prepares these kids for NBA. His job is over when the letter of intent is signed. Scouts might as well take a look at them now and save a trip in February and March when they can be looking at kids who actually developed during college.
