Coming from a small H.S. and under 5'10" is probably the reason he slipped to the 13th round. I believe the money for that slot is 100K. My guess is he'll go to UConn. With his talent he should eventually shine in college.
After the 10th rd there is no slot money. A player signs for whatever amount he can get. College seniors usually get the low end of the scale because they don't have any options of returning to school left. If a HS player is wanted he can actually sign for higher amounts. At that point it all depends on how much bonus money the team has left.
