Google/gmail problem

I keep getting a message when I try to sign into gmail saying "you have been signed out of your account. Please sign back in".

I have followed the prompts and have also gotten the verification code and changed my password and getting the same message .

This is a REAL problem for me. Any suggestions would be very appreciated.
