G: Ryan Boatright, 6-0, Sr., Connecticut Huskies
Stats: 19.2 ppg, 5.3 rpg, 4.4 apg

I have never been a huge Boatright guy, but he has no choice other than to do it all for this year’s Huskies. They’ve struggled some, but not because of Boatright. He does it on both ends.

Prediction: The American Athletic Conference is weak, and UConn should have success. Boatright will continue to do what he does.

Laden with backhanded comments. I can't wait for if Uconn does what Uconn does like in '11 and '14 and proves all the pundits wrong again. Purvis coming. Hamilton coming. Facey coming. Brimah coming. Omar COMING! It's not going to be just Boat all season.

It probably haunts him that he had wrote anything nice about Boat/UConn.

Quite frankly, I wouldn't want him to be a "huge Boatright guy." Just the sound of it creeps me out.
2nd Team I'm OK with.

The irony of the year Boatright is having is that he missed the two most critical free throws of the year, that led directly to losses.

Now, without his contributions we wouldn't be near winning those games anyway, but MAN, that is some cosmic payback for last years tourney free throw shooting

BTW, I totally take that cosmic trade off ! Thank you basketball Jesus!

Boat is my favorite Husky of all time. I swear if I ran into him somewhere I would give him a hug. What he did on defense throughout the championship run makes him a UConn legend. Everything else at this point is just a bonus.

What would cause someone to not be a "Boatright guy" other than dislike of UConn. Boat is tough as nails, loves his family, plays great D, all-around great basketball player and human being (it would seem).

Goodman just say you've never been a "a huge UConn guy" and leave Boat out of it.

What is? Having players cited as among the ten best in the country?
"Boat is no Shabazz" (remember "Shabazz is no Kemba"?)
"I've never been a big Boat guy"

also general backhanded compliments and doubts
