Good UConn mojo

My sweetie asked me out of the blue yesterday if I had a lager. I just drink IPA these days. But I recalled there might be something in the back, bottom of the fridge from years ago. Success!

I enjoyed it, and I’ll take all the good mojo I can get, but they could have just showed the 1 and 2 seeds and the only difference is that Florida would have been there.

Not sure. I had switched to Miller Lite for the mojo by then.

ADD: It just hit me, it's from the NMSU game. That debacle allowed me to make the switch to Lite without affecting the mojo.

I have made a tradition of donating to a UConn-related non-profit during the last 3 tournaments. The rules are simple, each weekend we play in the tournament, make a donation. I'm excited to kick off this tournament with a donation to the Husky Ticket Project!

Donate what you can if you can- I went with my favorite amount of $77.74. Also please let me know if you know of other UConn-related charities to give to.

I’m not miserable.

I felt the hanging stuff ran its course. You and that genius prankster wouldn’t let it go and were the only ones to beat an unfunny schtick into the ground. And here we are, you two sitting there with your thumbs in your bums 20 minutes before tip. Just admit I was right and enjoy the game.

Another weekend, another donation! I did some research and found that Andrea Hurley is on the board of the Connecticut Children's Foundation, so that is where I am directing my donation for this week.

If all goes well, I should be somewhere between PEI and Newfoundland around 38k above the ground at tip off. Not sure what the plane has for live TV.
Woodford Reserve is my most likely drink of choice.

I agree, this was one for the ages. The circustances with the Big East falling apart and the ban made it more than just an elite 8 game. Also the tickets for the semis were very tough to come by. Then the market loosened up for the final and UConn fans bought up all the tix.
And Sparty was the popular pick to win it all. What a day it was.
